Office Recruitment
As a high profile agency in office recruitment, Action First receives a consolidated response to our online, national and regional media advertising, attracting candidates of all abilities for both temporary and permanent positions. Our friendly and informal consultation procedure helps us to assess individual character, adaptability and sociability, and personal career aspirations. We have a well-defined candidate screening structure which includes skills testing and reference checking. We examine copy and audio typing proficiency, word processing, spread sheet and software skills, and numeracy and grammar competence. Candidates can also take advantage of our software training scheme to refresh, or enhance, their skills.
Childcare / Nursery Nurse
We currently supply temporary and permanent childcare staff across London and the Midlands. Our specialist Childcare division is dedicated to the recruitment of staff to nurseries, children's centres, family centres, crèches and after-school clubs. We encourage long-term working relationships and focus on customer service. You will have an experienced consultant allocated to you as your own point of contact at Action First. Wherever appropriate, your consultant will welcome an opportunity to meet in order to get to know your specific requirements and to be shown around the nursery or centre in order to be able to provide our agency staff with all the necessary background information about your organization.
Temporary Staff
Employing agency childcare workers may be of benefit during temporary periods of time such as sickness, holiday cover requirements or maternity cover.
Whatever your requirements, we are able to supply qualified Nursery Nurses (NVQ level 3 and equivalent), Nursery Assistants (NVQ 2 or equivalent), as well as experienced unqualified Nursery Assistants. We are also able to supply senior childcare staff - Room Leaders, Deputy Managers and Managers. We payroll all our candidates so you don't have to worry about administering salaries and tax for temporary staff.
Permanent Staff
If you are looking to recruit permanent staff but do not have time to advertise the post or look through CVs and application forms, Action First will be able to do the selection of staff on your behalf and forward the most relevant candidates to you.
Keeping you informed, ensuring your satisfaction
At Action First, we assign a specific consultant to manage your project who is accessible at all times to answer your queries. You will be kept fully informed of progress throughout the selection procedure, receiving CVs, references and our own recommendations. Following successful placements, your consultant will continue to monitor performance and conduct four-weekly reviews of temporary assignees.
